The Kids Show Their Stuff!

"A Children's Summer Art Exploration" is a wonderful opportunity for local kids to take part in a week-long workshop class in one of a variety of the arts.

Thirty percent of the money made at the West Shore Art League Fine Arts and Crafts Fair helps to fund “A Children’s Summer Art Exploration”. And, with the help of the Holland Area Arts Council and many organizations and individuals, 150 Mason County students receive a week of free art lessons.  Classes are offered in the following areas:  clay, mixed media, modern sculpture, drawing/painting, jewelry, and the performing arts.  Upon completion, all projects are showcased during an Open House.  Three to four hundred people usually come to view the student’s work.

The program has been a great success and is one of the West Shore Art League's proudest contributions to Mason County. For more information contact Pat: Email or call 231-845-5703
