The purpose of the West Shore Art League is to promote a wider understanding, a deeper appreciation, and advancement of the useful knowledge of art in our community.
Volunteer at an Art/Artist event!
The West Shore Art League has been run for 44 years 100% by volunteers...that should tell you that it's interesting, fun and rewarding. Our volunteers believe in our mission and have a good time helping with our events.
If you like children and believe in promoting their artistic expression, maybe you'd like to help with our Children's Art Exploration - assist an artist-teacher with a class, or help us with the showcase of all the children's work at the Open House. Or how about helping the budding young art collectors at the Children's Tent at the Art Fair this summer?
If you want to meet artists and learn more about what some of our local talent is doing, consider helping us host our artist lecture/demonstrations by bringing a snack tray to a membership meeting.
There are ways you can be of real service to the arts in this community with just a couple hours of your time. Make it a family event and bring the kids along...send us an email with your questions or interest by visiting the Contact Page on this web site.
