May Membership Show  an artist's finger...

Our Artist Members show their work at a local gallery each year in May. We rotate through local galleries interested in hosting our show. The show is open to all members, work must be ready to hang and/or display in the case of 3-D work. At least one piece must be for sale. The hosting gallery takes a 35% commission on all sales with the exception of one piece; each year members vote on a piece to buy valued at up to $500 that the West Shore Art League will purchase with money from our general fund and then donate that piece to the Memorial Medical Center.

The 2011 May Membership Show was held at the Todd & Brad Reed Photo Gallery.

The WSAL has a long-standing relationship with the Memorial Medical Center that helps sponsor their ART ACQUISITION program where they continue to build upon a wonderful collection of local artists work and display it throughout the hospital.

  

In 2012 the May Membership Show will be hosted by The Red Door Gallery, downtown Ludington. The Show will be open to the public throughout May.
